Meet Matt Carroll, Technical Operations Manager.
Matt has worked for RSWA since September 2022 and has quickly become an integral part of the Operations Team.
Matt has worked as a radiation safety officer, developed radiation safety programs, and managed radiological waste for numerous organisations across a variety of sectors. He has conducted and developed detailed facility safety assessments and safety cases to meet Government approval requirements and overseen commissioning and decommissioning of numerous radiation facilities. His work as a scientist involved the use of neutron and x-ray scattering both here and overseas, and he has been heavily involved in the development and teaching of radiation safety and radiation physics courses for industry and universities.
Matt holds a PhD (Biophysics), BSc (Physical Sciences), and Cert IV’s in Work Health & Safety and Training & Assessment.
